Our primary objective is to deliver the highest standard of safe and effective anaesthesia care to all patients. Anaesthesia is a medically controlled and temporary state of reduced sensation or awareness, administered for medical and surgical procedures. It may involve one or more components such as analgesia (pain relief or prevention), muscle relaxation, amnesia (temporary loss of memory), and unconsciousness, depending on the clinical requirement. Patients under the influence of anaesthetic medications are referred to as being anaesthetized.
